Shon beverly

My name is Shon Beverly - a Lifestyle Blogger located in Maryland, as well the owner of SMB, Inc., my Business Branding/ Management company. Within both of these, I promote, encourage and empower women success. While there is so much competition amongst us, my goal is to uplift women to be their best selves. Why is this important to me? Well, because I went through HELL trying to open my first business - I was conned out of a LARGE amount of money by my salon designer, then sued by my business landlord, and finally, left to pay the expenses that my salon designer opened in my name. I was left with NO money, all while trying to figure out how I'm going to get money to pay for pampers for my then, 1 year old son! I was down to absolutely nothing, but I refused to let 'nothing' be my worth. One thing that I always did, was remain positive. I remained prayed up. I got business savvy, turned to Instagram, and started selling unique pieces that I was hand sewing, from this, I made enough money to hold me down for weeks at a time. From that, I expanded what I was selling, to the point where I now use social media as one of my sources of income. From my hell, God showed me how to create heaven on earth, and I say all the time, that my life has not been the same since. I now have a successful company where I help business women avoid negative business experiences similar to what I had, I host events with the same theme of women empowerment- which has turned out to be one of my greatest accomplishments to date! All in all, I am unselfishly using God's gifts to uplift others.

Lavita staton

M.A.R.C.H.H acronym for “Making Awareness Reach Challenged Hearts & Homes” founded and created from personal experience with my sons journey. After months of sharing shy-updates about his developmental progress to avoid questions I wasn’t quite sure how to answer. I had to find a way to continue living such a new and unexpected phase of motherhood. I came up with the idea of expressing myself by starting a blog and the more I started settling comfortably in the lifestyle, I realized I wanted offer more. Thus M.A.R.C.H.H. was born.

M.A.R.C.H.H. will deliver community-based awareness serving children and families in the DMV community with special needs, development delays and other complex care health needs. We are looking to offer play groups, families bounding activities, family connections & referrals and a list of other services and programs. M.A.R.C.H.H. will encourage healthy lifestyles, foster independence and inclusion, and promote awareness empowerment per home.

I'm motivated by My Kids, the possibilities of Love, My Growth as a MOMpreneur & and powerful quotes; I live for a quote that feeds my soul.

Angel brantley

Well, where shall I begin? Okay, I've got it.... Hi, I am Angel Brantley, daughter of THE KING, wife of Marquis, mother of two amazing daughters, and a friend to many. I'm a blogger, speaker, life coach, and I just recently launched a ministry titled 'Value Her' in June 2017. My story isn't much different than yours, I promise. I've struggled with self-esteem challenges, confidence, fear, etc, but just like you I've overcome. Those things still knock at my door, but I've just decided to no longer hide from them. Why? Because one thing that sucks the most is running away from freedom. I've noticed that running is essentially me not giving myself the opportunity to become my best self. So in 2016 I decided to stop turning off the lights and hiding from the knocks at the door (aka not answering the phone for bill collectors or not opening the door for someone of a different spiritual background). Instead, I am determined to take on whatever is standing at my door in hopes that my victory (because I've been promised that already from my daddy) gives someone hope for tomorrow, next week, next year, a lifetime!

About four years ago I took a tremendous leap of faith and stopped working. At the time my family only consisted of my husband and I. After being home for eight or so months, we found out we were expecting our first daughter. About five months after the birth of our child, we received instructions from God to relocate our family BACK to Louisiana. Now both my husband and I are originally from Louisiana, but Maryland had become our new home after receiving instructions from God to move there years prior. Needless to say, making the move was tough! A lot took place during the transition, like actually getting pregnant again not once but twice (another story for another day). I'm here to be honest, the truth is my daily struggle to be the best form of me takes work. Shedding has been extremely uncomfortable. No one told me about the work it took to get over myself and be a good wife. I never saw myself as a "stay at home" mom. Never thought I would be seriously considering never sending my kids to a outside school. Never prepared myself for the work of being a entrepreneur. In fact I saw myself as a "business" woman in corporate America (so not me). But ten years ago I "thought" that was me. I'm here to encourage the girl, woman, and mom who is still trying to figure it out. Maybe you have a plan but it hasn't been working. Maybe you don't have a plan. Either case, you can find the answer/solution at the feet of Jesus. He has given us Grace to do everything HE has called us to do. We can have good ideas but not God ideas. Good ideas will burn you out, but believe that the Grace of God carries you & I through the process of becoming who has called us to be. You are blessed my friend. Live your best life, and be free to be who HE has called you to be.
